Hydration · elasticity · skin quality
Profhilo®
Profhilo is an injectable treatment containing hyaluronic acid. It is used to address skin hydration and laxity, with a focus on overall skin quality rather than adding targeted volume in the way a contouring filler does.
What might it help with?
It may be an option when skin feels less supple or looks crepey. We will assess whether hydration and skin quality are the main concerns, or whether another approach would better match your goals.
What to expect
Treatment involves a series of injections. Changes develop gradually, and a course or maintenance appointments may be recommended. The plan depends on the product, treatment area and your assessment.
Recovery and considerations
Temporary raised injection points, tenderness, swelling and bruising can occur. Injectable treatments also carry less common risks, including infection and allergic reactions. Your consultation covers the full product-specific risks and aftercare.
Suitability is assessed individually. Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Plinest polynucleotides
Anna offers Plinest polynucleotide treatments for the eye area, face and neck, with 2 ml per area. The appropriate formulation and treatment plan are confirmed at consultation. Polynucleotides are purified DNA-derived molecules used in some injectable skin treatments. They are being studied for improvements in texture, elasticity and fine lines. Early studies are encouraging, but the evidence base is still developing.
What might it help with?
They may be discussed for selected skin-quality concerns. Product choice and the treatment area matter: claims for one formulation or study should not be assumed to apply to every polynucleotide product.
What to expect
Treatment usually involves multiple small injections, with a course considered after assessment. Improvements, if achieved, develop over time; the size and duration of benefit vary.
Recovery and considerations
Small bumps, redness, swelling and bruising can occur. Tell Anna about allergies: some formulations are fish-derived. Product-specific contraindications and injection risks are reviewed before treatment.
Suitability is assessed individually. Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Dermapen 4 microneedling with Meso-Glides
Anna uses Dermapen 4 with Meso-Glides. Professional microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating its repair response. It can help improve the appearance of uneven texture, fine lines and some acne scars.
What might it help with?
It may suit concerns about surface texture or scarring. Active breakouts, infection and some skin conditions need assessment first; microneedling is not suitable for every skin concern.
What to expect
Results develop over weeks as the skin remodels. An exosome add-on is planned and is not yet available to book. The product, intended use and availability will be confirmed after Anna’s training. A series of sessions may be advised, particularly for scarring. The number and spacing depend on your skin, the device and the treatment depth.
Recovery and considerations
Redness, sensitivity and some swelling are common afterwards. Infection, scarring and pigment changes are possible. Follow your individual aftercare plan, including advice on sun protection and when to restart active skincare.
Suitability is assessed individually. Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Skin boosters
Skin boosters are a broad category of injectable treatments. Many use hyaluronic acid in small injections to improve hydration and skin smoothness, with an emphasis on skin quality rather than changing facial shape.
What might it help with?
They may be considered for dehydration and surface roughness. Different brands have different ingredients, approved uses and evidence, so the exact product is an important part of the consultation.
What to expect
A course and maintenance plan may be recommended. The timing and duration of results depend on the formulation, area treated and your individual response. Profhilo and other skin-quality injectables are not interchangeable.
Recovery and considerations
Temporary bumps, bruising, redness, swelling or tenderness can occur. Infection and rare serious injection complications are possible. The exact risks and aftercare depend on the chosen product.
Suitability is assessed individually. Results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Masseter Botox and facial slimming
The masseters are chewing muscles at the sides of the jaw. When enlarged muscles contribute to a wider lower face, botulinum toxin injections, often called masseter Botox, can reduce muscle activity and gradually reduce muscle bulk. This may create a slimmer appearance in suitable patients.
Is it suitable for my concern?
This approach targets muscle bulk. It does not remove facial fat or change the jawbone. Anna will assess what contributes to your lower face width and discuss realistic expectations before considering treatment.
What to expect
Changes develop gradually and are temporary. The degree of slimming varies, and treatment may not be appropriate for your anatomy or goals.
Risks and assessment
Possible effects include bruising, tenderness, chewing weakness, smile changes or asymmetry, and changes in the appearance of skin laxity. A prescribing consultation is required. Cosmetic masseter slimming is an off-label use of Botox in the UK; the prescriber should explain this and discuss the alternatives and risks.
